Jury Selection Begins In Lil Boosie Trial

(AllHipHop News) The trial of Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie begins today (April 30) in the rapper’s hometown.

According to The Advocate, 150 local residents will fill out forms to begin the selection process.

Jurors will not be questioned by State District Judge Mike Erwin until tomorrow, when the process continues.

As previously reported, the 12 jurors who will ultimately be selected will be anonymous, sequestered and under heavy security.

Lil Boosie is on trial for the first-degree murder of a man named Terry Boyd in October 2009.

The rapper is accused of hiring a teenager named “Marlo” Mike Louding to commit the murder.

This glimpse into her young life had the tell-tale signs of a “Black girl lost.” Nas chose to address these issues and others in his new track, “Daughters”, in which he blames himself for not being more involved in his child’s life. Khaled tweeted photos of his tour bus, which caught fire and exploded on the side of the highway.

The photograph above was tweeted by Sanders 14 minutes after he posted the following two messages on his Twitter timeline. (The bottom message was sent first.) 20 Minutes after altercation in bedroom of home by estranged wife Pilar Sanders and accomplice.

He captioned the photograph with the message, "filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth."

TMZ reports that police were seen outside Sanders' house on Monday night and an unidentified person was in handcuffs. His estranged wife was taken to a hospital after complaining of a medical problem.

Last month, Pilar Sanders filed a $200 million defamation lawsuit against her husband. She was responding to a tweet from Deion's daughter, Deiondra, which said Pilar was a "gold-digging [expletive]." Deion later explained that the statement couldn't be defamation because it's true.

Dr Dre Says "Not Sure" About "Hologram Pac" Gangsta Partying On Tour

Dr. Dre has stated that the infamous 2Pac hologram could possibly hit the road for a 'tour' of sorts, but urged fans to not hold their breath. Dre said that the experts are working on refurbishing the hologram technology, however, and that nothing should be ruled out.

"I’m not sure right now, because right now, it’s a technology that’s happening where the hologram could be 360 degrees. Right now, it’s flat," he said. "It just looks like it’s three-dimensional from the front. But working on some new and different things for the future. Everybody’s in love with it right now, we’re having fun."

"Hopefully, different artists are able to bring out their favorite artists," he added. "Hopefully, we can see Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye. We’ll see what happens."

But on Sunday night it was thanks to the ghostly re-appearance of West Coast rap legend Tupac Shakur. He materialized on stage alongside his old friend Snoop Dogg during a crowd-pleasing set by the Doggfather and Dr. Dre, which also featured appearances from Eminem, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Warren G.

The resurrection of 'Pac, who was murdered in 1996, would have been a face-melting surprise had word about the stunt not leaked out just a few days before the set. But the 100,000 or so fans who were on hand still couldn't believe it when Tupac materialized on stage to rip off "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted."
