Mommy Of The Month: "Joke" photo of baby with plastic bag over her head leads to mother's arrest

DAVIE — A Davie woman was charged with cruelty toward a child and neglect after police say she placed a plastic bag on her 5-month-old daughter's head, laid the child down in a plastic-lined garbage container and photographed her.

The infant's father was out of town when he received the image in a text, Davie Police said. He alerted a relative who called police and Courtney Shanvice McBride, 20, was arrested
