| DON CORNELIUS-Founder of Soul Train-FOUND DEAD THIS MORNING OF APPARENT SUICIDE! Don Cornelius was found this morning at 4:30am at his home in Sherman Oaks, CA. He apparently took his own life officials are reporting. Looking back on Don's life..I can definitely say he changed the landscape of Television with Soul Train from 1971-2006. What a sad way to start "Black History Month" with an Icon like him. He will definitely be missed. Just speculation but word is he was plagued with HEALTH ISSUES and was just granted a divorce in 2010 reportedly stating "Let's get this divorce over with before i DIE" Wow... R.I.P |

Common vs Drake "The Old" vs "The New"
The Common and Drake beef may not have achieved the level of previous hip hop battles such as LL Cool J vs. Kool Moe D, or KRS-One vs. Juice Crew, but it has people talking these days. French Montana commented on it, as well as hip hop heavies Scarface and Birdman. An underrated star in hip hop is rapper Papoose, real name Shamele Mackie, who recently talked to Hot 93.7's Kevin W. Reese. Papoose said when asked about the beef:
"Interesting, man. Because Common is a master lyricist. And I think Drake is nice, too. It'd be interesting to see the outcome. I'm like everyone else. I'm just waiting to see what happens. To me, it's interesting...It ain't gonna be a walk in the park."
Contrary to rumors on the Internet, the battle is not over Com’s ex-girlfriend Serena Williams. Though Drake was spotted with her following their breakup, Common maintains that it’s all because the Young Money rapper fired back.
LMAO!! I mean come on now...How u gonna record a song called "SWEET" and expect a rapper who's been taking shots because of his "Soft and Cuddly" style NOT TO RESPOND? I have heard of the term "Old rapper's trying to advance" but if you ask me...Common had that planned HOPING Drake would respond so his ALBUM SALES WOULD SKYROCKET. But the way the tables are turning, Drake didn't respond nor did he make a response diss track obviously taking the high road. Now, don't get me wrong...Common is definitely 1 of the ELITE in the rap game but to go at Drake? WRONG MOVE! But pin this...DID YOU KNOW KANYE WEST SUPPOSEDLY WAS THE REASON FOR DRAKE LOSING MILLIONS AFTER HE RENIGGED ON ACCOMPANYING "TAKE CARE" with a KANYE'S SAMPLE DISC? Therefore putting a halt to "Take Care's RELEASE DATE? When asked Kanye alledgedly responded "Dude taking my style" Wow! Also Ludacris ALSO HAD A COUPLE WORD'S FOR DRAKE "SUPPOSEDLY" jacking his style too? Man listen...I'm not a rapper or in the industry but it look's like "The Old" are trying to get at "The New". Drake by far is killing the game right now, getting money w/o any help but from YMCMB, No high profile album cameo's or Celeb backing. Homie just doing him and trying to get the world to listen TO THE NEW AGE, (Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd,) Thats all thats it! Don't hate the brotha because you can listen to "Take Care" with your brodies or a CHICK! Why hate because he is part of THE ELITE CAMP KNOWN AS "Young Money" thats only getting stronger, or because he's LIGHT-SKINNED (lmao #insider) But real talk, I would hate for others to get involved in this because most of his crew are BATTLE RAPPER'S and with addition of Tech Nine, Bow Wow and BUSTA RHYMES! G.O.O.D Music will definitely have a GOOD NIGHT if it comes to that. And to top it off!! Why would you put your rhymes on a song already out here dissing the guy before you?? DO I HEAR CANNIBUS/LL COOL J 3.2.1? WOW WHO STILL DOES THAT? CHECK IT OUT BELOW!!
